User Management

What is User Management?

User Management can be used by Administrator Users to manage other registered application Users.

Features

Clicking on the New button will display a child window so a new User can be recorded. Alternatively selecting an existing User and clicking on the button will display a context menu with different options to manage the selected User account, selecting an option will display the relevent child window.

On every child window displayed the current User's Password must also be provided for security reasons.

Once all the required properties are set the create or edit procedure can be completed by clicking the New or Save button at the bottom of the child window. If any validation errors are encountered they will display at the bottom of the child window and must be rectified before the procedure can complete.

Upon successful completion the child window will close and a success message will display at the bottom of the application.

If the Cancel button is clicked, the child window will close and nothing will be saved.

Note: If a User with a Status of Pending is selected an additional Resend button will be displayed.

Feature Description
Create New User Create a new application User.
Edit Personal Details Edit the selected User's Forename and Surname.
Edit Login Email Edit the selected User's Login Email. Upon successful completion an email will be sent to the new Login Email provided with instructions on how to complete the procedure. The User's Status will be set to Pending preventing them from logging into the application until the procedure has been completed.
Reset Password & Details Reset Security Details procedure for selected User. An email will be sent to the Login Email of selected User with instructions on how to complete the procedure.
Edit Account Type Edit the selected User's Account Type.
Edit Account Status Edit the selected User's Status.
Resend Resends the email that contains instructions on completing the management procedure currently underway.
