Importing Issues

Importing Issues in Issue Management

Clicking the Import button will display the Import Issues child window.

In order to view and import Issues from another Project, a Project must be selected from the "Import from Project" drop-down at the top. The drop-down is populated with any Projects that have Issues identified.

Both the Issue Profile and Search Issues features are available to help find the correct Issues to import.

From the Import button there are two options for importing Issues:

Import All - Import all Issues returned with the current search criteria. Please note: Issues on all returned pages will be imported.

Import Selected - Import any currently displayed Issues that have been checked in the Import column of the DataGrid. To check all Issues use the Check All button at the bottom of the child window.

Upon successful import the Import Issues child window will close, a success message will be displayed at the bottom of the application and the last of the newly imported Issues will be selected.

Importing Issues in Documents

Documents that contain Issues have the ability to import Issues from other Projects via the Import feature of the Document.

Clicking the Import button will display the Import Document child window.

In order to view and import Issues from another Project, a Project must be selected from the "Import from Project" drop-down at the top. The drop-down is populated with any other Projects in the application.

From the import button there are two options for importing Issues within Documents:

Import Current Tab - Imports all data on the currently selected tab. If the intention is to import Issues, the selected tab must be the Issue tab.

Import All - Imports all Document data, including any Issues identified on the Issue tab.

Upon successful import the Import Document child window will close, a success message will be displayed at the bottom of the application and the last of the newly imported Issues will be selected.
