Emails

There are a number of procedures within Project on Demand that will trigger the application to send an email. The emails sent by the application can be sorted into four categories:

  • Emails that relate to User account management - These emails will contain a link that the user must click to complete the management procedure.
  • User Notification emails - Emails that notify the User they are required to perform an "Internal Action" within the application.
  • Report emails - Emails with attached Reports sent to registered application Users or manually defined emails.

Application Procedures

User Management related:

Application Procedure Description Can resend
New License Holder An email will be sent to the Login Email supplied when the new License Holder account was created, contained will be a link to complete account setup.
New User An email will be sent to the Login Email supplied when the new User account was created, contained will be a link to complete account setup. Another email will be sent upon successful completion of the setup procedure.
Edit Email An email will be sent to the newly entered Login Email to verify it is correct, contained will be a link to complete the email change over.
Reset Password An email will be sent to the Login Email of the User account, contained will be a link to complete the Password reset procedure.
Reset Password & Security Details An email will be sent to the Login Email of the User account, contained will be a link to reset the Password & Security Details.
Enable User Account An email will be sent to the Login Email of the User account informing them that their account has been enabled.
Disable User Account An email will be sent to the Login Email of the User account informing them that their account has been disabled.
Edit User Account Type An email will be sent to the Login Email of the User account informing them of their Account Type change.

Document Review An email will be sent to the Login Email of each recipient of the Document Review procedure notifying them of the Document Review request.
Document Review Reminder An email will be sent to the Login Email of the selected recipients of the Document Review procedure reminding them of the Document Review.
Document Approval An email will be sent to the Login Email of each recipient of the Document Approval procedure notifying them of the Document Approval request.
Document Approval Reminder An email will be sent to the Login Email of the selected recipients of the Document Review procedure reminding them of the Document Approval.

Change related:

Application Procedure Description
Allocate Change An email will be sent to the Login Email of the allocated Analyst notifying them of the Impact Analysis request.
Change Approval An email will be sent to the Login Email of each recipient of the Change Approval procedure notifying them of the Change Approval request.
Change Approval Reminder An email will be sent to the Login Email of the selected recipients of the Change Approval procedure reminding them of the Change Approval.

Build, Implementation Work Package and Test Plan related:

Application Procedure Description
Allocate Build Work Package An email will be sent to the Login Email of the User assigned responsibility of the Build Work Package notifying them of pending Work Package awaiting execution.
Allocate Test Plan An email will be sent to the Login Email of the User assigned responsibility of the Test Plan notifying them of pending Test Plan awaiting execution.
Allocate Implementation Work Package An email will be sent to the Login Email of the User assigned responsibility of the Implementation Work Package notifying them of pending Work Package awaiting execution.

Project Status Report related:

Application Procedure Description
Email Project Status Report An email with the Project Status Report attached will be sent to the Login Email of all recipient Users selected, and any additional email addresses defined.
